Wind Driven Rain Ruins Room

When the wind blows hard enough that the rain hits under the shingles and eaves of a roof. The top of this window also had its seal damaged over time which allowed the rain water to gather. Between the two problems the top of this window was ruined and needed to be removed.

SERVPRO of Summerlin North/Sun City helped cleanup their damaged window by removing the wet and damaged drywall. Once it was removed and dried the insurance company stated dragging their feet on the rebuilding process. We didn't want to leave a gaping hole in their home, containing the area for them until the insurance company approved the rebuild portion of this storm damaged home.
